Horseshoe Bay Resort Modern Wedding
When Lauren, wedding coordinator at Austin In Style Weddings and Destinations, approached me with her modern vision, I couldn't have been more excited. Since Lauren and Rob met bowling, I designed save the date magnets that stated "Spare the Date" to play off of the bowling theme. The engagement photo and blue and yellow color scheme really made these magnets pop.
For the invitation, I created a multi-layer staggered invitation (affixed with brad), with the response postcard acting as a mad lib for guests to fill out. The postcard was perforated so guests just had to tear it off and put it in the mail.
Because so many guests were from out of town, I created an itinerary card to be inserted in the hotel bags. For the escort cards, which guided guests to their table at the reception, I designed tags for Lauren to hang in a fun assortment on clothespins on baker's twine. I also created oversize restaurant style menus for the rehearsal dinner, complete with a photo of the couple.

Luxe Satin Box Invitations
I loved working on this Marie Antoinette inspired wedding, designed by the bride who is the fabulous wedding planner and owner of La Fete Chic. The wedding was also featured in the latest Austin Wedding Day.
I designed an ornate "M" monogram with the inspiration of the Versailles gates. Using this monogram and a beautiful script, the save the date was mounted on a gold textured metallic backing and inserted into a dark navy metallic envelope. A calligrapher hand addressed each envelope.
For the invitation, we used satin navy boxes with a pocket for the website and response card and envelope. The invitation was backed with navy metallic and gold textured metallic cardstocks and wrapped with navy satin ribbon and a beautiful brooch. Again, both the response envelopes and invitation set were hand addressed by a calligrapher.
